MY ORIGINS
I grew up in medicine.
My father was a pharmacist. My first job - at 14 - was working alongside him, filling prescriptions and watching what medicine could do for people. And occasionally, what it couldn't.
That lesson became deeply personal when I found myself weaning off a medication I'd been prescribed after a traumatic brain injury. There were no functional medicine practitioners to turn to at the time, so I figured it out on my own — and in doing so, discovered an alternative to conventional medicine.
I didn't stumble into functional medicine. I lived it.

What I Did With It
That experience led me to become a personal trainer, built around holistic methods and functional nutrition.
The results were hard to argue with. In my 40s, I put on 20 pounds of lean muscle at sub-10% body fat — and today I look and feel about 20 years younger than my calendar age. More importantly, I spent years sitting across the desk from clients who were exhausted, out of shape, and out of options. I understood exactly what they were going through, because I'd already been there myself.
That's a perspective very few agencies can replicate, and it informs every website I build.
Where I'm Different
They hire generalist copywriters who research your specialty for an afternoon, then produce content that sounds clinical but feels hollow — and visitors sense it immediately. Others have handed that job to AI, and now they all sound exactly the same.
I write from nearly two decades of personal experience with functional medicine, as both a patient and a practitioner-adjacent professional. The copy I produce doesn't just describe what you do — it speaks directly to what your patients are feeling when they find you.
Combined with almost 20 years of web design experience, that's a combination most agencies simply can't offer.
Most agencies working with healthcare clients are essentially doing it blind.
Who I Work With
